Land tours

Nusa Penida plays host to awesome natural beauty sites so there is plenty to do if you decide to take an afternoon or a day off from diving.

Crystal bay

When you're there enjoy a beautiful beach, crystal clear water and snorkelling. Take the only road from Sakti village to the west and continue until you reach the coast.

Distance: 20-25 mins from the resort.

The drive will take you through the hills and villages, what goes up must come down, so expect a steep hill as you descend towards crystal bay.

Kelingking beach / Point & nearby cliffs

These points are beat explored by car unless you're an experienced on a scooter / motorbike.

Distance from resort: 60-90 minutes from the resort, depending on road conditions and mode of transport.

The drive takes you through villages, up hills and along winding roads. There are some great views along the way and be prepared for bumpy roads - this route doesn't have tarmac for the most part!

The views are stunning and well worth the drive - the most famous point being Kelingking Beach. This iconic point on Nusa Penida is an awesome cliff with a powder sand beach at the bottom. You can walk down a bamboo bridge (carefully) to the point!

Sturdy shoes recommended!

Can be seen on the same trip with Angels Billabong and Broken Beach if you have at least a half day.

Angels Billabong & Broken beach (Pasih Uug)

These two points are very close to one another and best viewed on the same trip.

Distance: 60-90 mins from the resort depending on road conditions and mode of transport.

The drive takes you through villages, up hills and along winding roads. There are some great views along the way and be prepared for bumpy roads - this route is not tarmac'ed for the most part!

Once you arrive there is a small walk down hill to the natural infinity Pool (Angels Billabong). This beautiful point is actually the land side of Manta Bay dive site - if the mantas are in town you can see them from the cliff!

Best seen at low tide. Be extremely cautious in high waves here.

Approximately 200m away and a small uphill walk you come to Pasih Uug (Broken Beach). There are signs for it from Angels Billabong - Pasih Uug is another awesome vista which is essentially a cave with no top! You can see through to the archway leading out to the clear blue ocean and a beautiful beach below. There's no access to the beach as the view point is fairly high above it, but it's a beautiful spot!

Other points of interest include Atuh Beach, Goa Giri Putri cave temple, Puncak Mundi hill and many more!
