dive boats
We dive from fibreglass speedboats to get you to the dive sites quickly and safely. Nusa Penida can have strong surface currents and swell in some areas, and speedboats are best to navigate these conditions.
Our boats have lifejackets, marine radios, emergency oxygen and first aid kits on board. If you break a mask or fin strap, or chomp through your mouthpiece, we've got that covered too.
Our helpful crew will assist you in and out of your gear, help you with fins and pass down your camera for you.
We bring drinking water, tea, coffee and snacks and of course lunch on board. Got to keep up that energy for the dives!!
Reef-safe mask soap is available on board - Chemical soaps and defog are discouraged as they can damage the reef when you rinse your mask.
Reef-safe sunscreen is available on board - Please protect our reefs and use this (or your own reef-safe sunscreen) or better still, cover up with a rash guard and hat.
Alexandrini - Our first custom-built boat is named after the Mola Alexandrini - the type of mola that we see around Penida! At 12,5m long x 2,8m wide it's a very spacious boat with two ladders and bench seats for added comfort on the ride to the sites. With powerful Yamaha engines we can get you to Penida's sites faster than other dive centres! The tank racks are generously spaced out so that you and your buddy don't bump into each other when getting ready for the dive. The boat has a long canopy offering shade from the sun, and has a net area where you can store clothes, towels and other light objects away from the bench or floor. If you prefer the sun in your surface interval, then there is space at the bow of the boat.
Mydas - Our second custom-built boat is names after Chelonia mydas, the green turtle. Mydas can accommodate up to 8 guests and is 10,5m long x 2,3m wide and is also powered by Yamaha engines. Mydas also features two ladders , smart equipment racks so that you don't bump into your buddy when gearing up and have storage space under the canopy for your clothes & towels. There is plenty of shade and a seat area at the bow if you prefer the sun in your surface intervals.
What to bring: A light weight towel or sarong, refillable water bottle, reef safe sunscreen. We recommend using a dry bag on diving days.
